![]() Why radio? FREE cds & movie tickets!!! J/K. The real reason is the privilege of being used by God to impact a life. He's given me this platform and I don't plan on wasting it! ![]() Wow it's been awhile since I wrote last, where does the time go? I'm blown away that we're already headed into the holiday season. First Halloween, then Thanksgiving and then before you know we'll be smack dab in the middle of Christmas time. Since I'm on the subject of the holidays, does anyone else notice how fast stores are to put out their holiday stuff? It's seems to be getting earlier and earlier each year. I guess the holidays are truly about making money. JUST KIDDING!!! I enjoy this time of year, I just wish we could celebrate the holidays with 90 degree weather that's all. Speaking of the weather, I did a poll on Twitter and 98% of the people who tweeted back said they would much rather have the colder weather than stay with summer type temps. What in the world?!? Don't get me wrong, I love the change of season just as much as the next guy, but my problem is the definition of winter here in the valley. See I grew up in the Tahoe area and winter was always all about snow and lots of it. In the valley, winter is all about fog and rain. If it was snow I had to look forward to then maybe I would be cheerleading for cooler weather, but since it's just fog and rain I'm believing for t-shirts and shorts temps for as long as I can. Here's a quick update on the "Paper Boys". Hard to believe but Baby Paper turned three a few weeks back and I am blown away at how big he is getting. He's becoming my little side-kick too and I'm loving every second of it. Don't be fooled though, when it comes down to it, he's still a mama's boy for sure. Our lil' Paper Clip just celebrated nine months and I think he'll be crawling by the time I post the next blog udpate. This little guy is super mobile and crazy fast. Not to mention, he is into EVERYTHING! I love these boys with all my heart and thank God for them everyday. What a blessing. Quick sports note. I'm Silver and Black all the way (that will never change) but my goodness, it sucks to be a Raider fan right now! That's all. Last but not least, I'm crazy excited about my annual men's event coming up called The Crest. About eight years ago, I started this with only six guys and this year we're expecting over 400. The goal is help men become the man they were created to be. Leading their families, loving their wife and kids, dealing with any addiction and communication problems in their lives. We have seen marriages restored, physical, mental and spiritual healings, addictions broken and lives radically transformed. If you know a man who could use a powerful weekend away from the grind of everyday life, send them to this website www.kingdommen.netand click on The Crest.UNTIL NEXT TIME: DON'T LET ANYONE OR ANYTHING KEEP YOU FROM YOUR DREAMS!!! jp BABY PAPER is easily one of the most popular topics on the show. To date, his most talked about moment was when he refused to say Dada. From left to right: Sarah McLachlan, DC Talk, Pearl Jam, Jeremy Camp, Guns & Roses. ![]() HAVE YOU EVER HEARD OF THE NEWSBOYS? Here's why their special to me. It was at one of their shows at Great America in the late 90's, that I experienced the presence of God for the first time. They were singing a song about being "Part-Time Christian" you know, clocking in every Sunday morning like a good church boy and then clocking out living like the devil the rest of the week. That was me and during that song, even though there were hundreds of people all around, I felt the presence of God come over me like I was the only one there. No one can take that experience away from me, it was as real as real gets and it was one of the moments in time that I'll never forget. Thank you Newsboys and thank you Jesus! My favorite voices of all time. From left to right: Sarah McLachlan, Kevin Max (formerly of DC Talk), Chester Bennington & Sebastian Bach. A few more things you should know about me: ENTERTAINMENT (MOVIES) I'm a self-proclamimed movie geek. Here are a few of my favorites. Give me a Pepsi and a flick and I'm good!
